Ingredients:
3 eggs
A pinch of salt
8 g vanilla sugar (or 1 tsp vanilla extract)
100 ml milk
1 tablespoon instant coffee (dissolved in the milk)
180 g flour
20 g unsweetened cocoa powder
15 g baking powder (about 1 tbsp)
100 g sugar (adjust to taste)
100 g butter or vegetable oil
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a medium-sized cake pan or line it with baking paper.
- Mix the wet ingredients
In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, salt, vanilla sugar, and sugar until light and creamy.
Add the melted butter (or oil) and mix again.
Dissolve the instant coffee in the milk, then pour it into the egg mixture. Stir well.
- Prepare the dry ingredients
In another bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients
Gradually add the dry mixture into the wet mixture.
Stir gently until smooth — avoid overmixing.
- Bake
Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool and serve
Let the cake cool completely before removing it from the pan.
